“Excess of everything is bad”. This holds true for social media too. There is a fine line between providing your readers something valuable and annoying them. Too many posts in a day can put off a reader or your fan on social media.
Some brands believe that higher number of posts will have higher engagement and readership disregarding real value it provides to readers. This is wrong.
Quality posts or those posts which provide some valuable information will always have readership. Frequency of posts also depends on the social media platform. Your Twitter account is expected to provide more posts but your Facebook page shouldn’t deliver more than 2-3 posts in a day. Your Twitter account is expected to deliver multiple tweets in a day but Facebook page is expected to deliver less posts to stay remain visible and relevant.
Our key, when we are working on social media pages is to avoid over doing it by posting too many posts and to make sure that our posts always provide something of value to readers.
